The stage system remains the same as purchasing a full VY V6 ECU, read about the different stages below:
Stage One: A general enhancement to the factory Ecotec Tune. Open Loop Fueling is triggered sooner to deliver more power and the Target AFR @ WOT optimised. Spark timing is lightly lifted with our light spark timing enhancement. This tune remains safe for 91 octane.
Stage Two: 95-98 RON Fuel only. Everything from Stage One, with further enhanced timing designed to take better advantage of Higher RON fuels. The EGR settings are adjusted for more part throttle power and for automatic transmissions, a light increase in line pressure provides a firmer feeling automatic that also has 1-2 auto upshift disabled to hold gears.
Stage Three: 98 RON ONLY, NOT EMMISIONS LEGAL. Everything from Stage Two, With fully optimised timing designed to work with 98 and octane booster to push MBT Timing to its limits. Further fueling enhancements are present and the O2 sensors are no longer used. EGR control is deleted and the valve commanded closed at all times. The 4L60 is given a very agressive shift pressure profile for the fastest shifting possible and Power Mode becomes a full manual mode where the 1, 2 and 3 positions corrospond to that gear and D becomes 4th. The Fuel cut is moved to 6100 RPM to widen the RPM band as far as possible.

Stage 3 is not a street tune and has special setup requirements.
